HE KNOWS US BY NAME

"He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite"
(Ps 147:4-5).
There are probably literally trillions and trillions of stars in many galaxies and God knows each by name. There is no earthly way we can even count them. The way I look at it, He made the stars for us to enjoy. "And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also" (Gen 1:16). I look at it like finishing a grand cake by adding some sprinkles and extra decorations. Just my thoughts.
"For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist" (Col 1:16-17). We are speaking of an incomparable Christ. “All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made” (John 1:3). Jesus, our Creator, is God in the flesh (John 1:1). And He is all knowing and all powerful. “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?” (Jer 32:27). The Lord can do all things. He created us and all the creatures on earth. He spoke the world into existence.
So let’s think about this for a moment. If GOD can know and call the name of every star in the heavens, then surely He knows each one of us individually. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:” (John 10:27). Note: If we know Jesus, we follow Him. As followers of Christ, He knows us because we hear Him. We hear Him through the Holy Ghost which He placed in us the moment we received Him as our Savior and Lord (John 1:12). We know Him by His word, the Holy Bible. And we “search the scriptures” to know Him better each day (John 5:39). God knows our desires, our needs, our health situations, everything. Jesus Christ died for our sins (1 Cor 15:3-4) to cleanse us from all unrighteousness so that we will be able to live in Heaven with Him someday soon. Jesus cares for us.
Jesus said, “But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows” (Luke 12:7). Now perhaps all of us can understand how He cares for us. So we should go to God first with our cares and problems. God’s word says, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you” (1 Pet 5:7). He already knows us and our struggles but He wants to hear from us. Go to GOD first.
'Thank YOU Lord Jesus for caring for us and for knowing us personally.
We trust You and in YOU we always have a Friend'.
