Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.  Ezek 3:21

A young man, shared with me • about his demented choice of life
He told me about his best friend • that he was about, to make his wife
I backed away a little timidly • because I didn’t want to offend
And I tip-toed around the subject • hoping he’d find the truth, before the end

A man I know, who lives with • his lady friend of seven years
They act like they are married • both say ‘God, is who they fear’
God says it’s wrong, that I’ve read • on His word He just won’t budge
But I better tip-toe around their life • for who am I to judge

A ‘Christian’ man told me a story • using words that hurt my ears
A filthy mouth did he possess • it brought my heart to tears
But he seems to be a caring man • for him to stop, I won’t beseech
I’ll just tip-toe around and close my ears • because he has freedom in his speech

A little wine for the stomach, it’s okay • says my pal of many years
Claim’s it’s in the Bible, besides, • it’s just a few beers
But the Bible says it’s for mockers • not for princes, and not for kings
So I’ll just tip-toe around his habits • Don’t want to hurt his feelings

I am the way, the truth – and the life • Jesus said it, be not dismayed
But I hear many tv preachers • say to heaven, there are many ways
‘Be good, don’t swear, help others • give money so it may be doubled’
I’d better tip-toe around those viewers • I wouldn’t want them to be, too troubled

I dreamed last night, that I met with God • and He said my life’s not been fruitful
He said “you never warned a single soul • And you haven’t been real truthful
Depart from me you lukewarm man • you never cared about the lost
You’ve spent your life so selfishly • and you’ve tip-toed around the cross”.

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven;
but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven (Matt 7:21).

A sad poem but praise God for His soldiers.

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may

please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. (2 Tim 2:3-4)
