Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;    (Rom 12:12)

“Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown”  (Rev 3:11)

So as you read the title of this message you may ask yourself, “Is this guy crazy?!” Perhaps I am in some eyes, but not in the eyes of Jesus my Lord.  If we look around and see the maniacal and evil things going on in this wicked world, all of us can understand why many are depressed.

•  Wars going on all around the world and a civil war brewing in the U.S.
•  Hatred and censorship in the media, the newspapers, universities and our local schools
•  Angry and hateful behavior toward Godly people & those who love peace - even murder
•  Trashing & burning cities and complete lawlessness all the way to the top of government
•  Somber times & terrible things happening all around us, even in our own neighborhoods
•  Unfettered violence in our cities without consequence and promoted by high officials
•  People hating “good” and loving “evil” and lovers of self while hating God

We are facing evil times indeed.

For those of you who notice, “WHAT'S UP?”

Allow me to answer that. These are expected times. Obviously none of us in our right minds applaud this or enjoy it however, the Bible tells us that it will happen. “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come” (2 Tim 3:1). We are living in the “last days” of the ‘church age’ and we are looking for the blessed Hope. “Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Savior Jesus Christ;” (Tit 2:13). What’s Up? Let’s look at the verse previous. “Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;” (Tit 2:12). There we have the answer. We are a peculiar people (1 Pet 2:9) and we belong to Christ. So let's not panic even in these perilous times and keep pressing toward the mark (Phil 3:14).

Hold on to each other tight and keep telling ‘em about our Jesus. That’s our job.  “Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown”  (Rev 3:11)

The Best Times are coming soon.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord”    (1 Thess 4:16-17).

Are you ready for the best time in your life?

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under
heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12).

"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved"  (Rom 10:13).
