Things That I Admire

“A man shall be commended (admired) according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised”  (Pro 12:8).

Commended: To represent as worthy of notice, regard, or kindness; to speak in favor of; have some admiration for; Worthy of respect;

Things that I admire:

○   My wife coffee Bringing me a cup of coffee when getting a cup for herself and I never ask her to do so (as I do the same for her).

○   A man I hired lets me know that “He didn’t feel like working today”.  Even though disappointed, I admired his honesty. I’ve heard a plethera of excuses but never that.

○   Seeing a man helping an elderly woman who had dropped some of her groceries in the parking lot at the store, before I could get there to help her. Not only admire but pleased.

○   I admire a man or woman who is not ashamed to mention the name of Jesus out in public.

○   I admire believers in their 60s, 70s, 80s & 90s still preaching and telling the world about Christ.

○   I admire my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, most of all and what He did for me.

Are you on my “admire” list?

“Not slothful in business (not lacking in zeal);
fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;”
(Rom 12:11).
