Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire. Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. (Jude 1:7-8)
Filthy Dreamer: Metaphorically, to be beguiled with sensual images and carried away to an impious (not showing respect or reverence) course of conduct:
Personally, I would rather not even present a message as this one but I have been led to warn those who support those in perverted lifestyles and I pray I am not offensive (It's God's word, not mine). I could fill pages with references from the Bible that condemns the sodomite lifestyle (which many refer to homosexuals or gay) but my point is that we do not need to partake or even condone what some do. Jude (Judas, half brother of Jesus) warns us in the book of Jude of certain dangers, and one focus is on the “filthy dreamers”. Matthew Henry says “The lusts which consumed the Sodomites with fire from heaven, are in hell”. This is a warning to all in perversions. “To whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever” (hell) (Jude 1:13b). As believers, we are “preserved” (Jude 1:1) till the end and have the confidence that we are “saved to the uttermost” (Heb 7:25) and will live forever with Jesus. However, believers are not to “buddy up” with those in perverted lifestyles. The Bible, God’s holy word, warns us in many places (Rom 1:26-32, 1 Thess 5:22, 2 Cor 6:17) to NOT make friends with them or to be “unequally yoked” with them. “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?” (2 Cor 6:14). Are we to tell them about our Jesus? You bet we are. The same for drunkards & adulterers. Pray for them. Jesus said “Go” (Mark 16:15) (1 Thess 5:17).
There are NO (ZERO) God-ordained preachers of God’s precious gospel who are sodomites (even if they call themselves “trans-gender” - no such word). Now what I do believe is that satan himself has ordained them. “Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Cor 6:9-10). They are “false teachers” and there are a lot of “itching ears” in the world today. They are hell-bound unless they repent (Luke 13:3). “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables” (2 Tim 4:3).
We will stand with the truth – God’s word. We will not tolerate, approve, commend, overlook, or stand silent when God’s word is being perverted. They are but filthy dreamers. Call them out. Tell them they are in danger of hell fire. Even many in our own government. Jesus called us to be soldiers (2 Tim 2:3-4). “That he may please Him who hath chosen him to be a soldier”.
