“So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isa 55:11).

One can censor books, radio personalities, televison hosts, movies, speech in universities, newspapers, clubs, societies, political groups, teachers leading prayer in schools, public praying, and almost every place we can think, but I truly believe that God’s word cannot be censored.  One may think they can censor His word, but it cannot be done.

The point is that when we repeat God’s word, it is “out there” - nothing can take it back.  Whether one hears God’s word, and receives it, it’s up to them. If we tell a person that the Bible says “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” (Rom 3:23), they may reject that notion but they’ll remember it!   And if we tell someone “Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:” (Rom 3:24), it will also be remembered. Maybe not word for word, but the verse will be remembered.

So let us cheerfully post God’s word on the tips of our tongues and be ready to proclaim the greatest message to man, and that is Christ’s gospel.   But not with harshness.   “Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man” (Col 4:6).

Jesus told Nicodemus this: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life” (John 3:16)

It was meant for everyone and it cannot be censored.

“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

(Rom 10:13)
