"LOST? NO HOPE AFTER DEATH!"

“The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.” II Peter 3:9
The comforting promise made for those who are God’s children and called to facing death, sadly cannot be applied to the unsaved. Those without Christ as personal Lord and Saviour are described in the Holy Bible as “having no hope, and without God in the world:” (Eph 2:12). They are dead to God in spiritual realities, in trespasses and sin (see Eph 2:1).
Indeed, the unsaved are said to be blind (to sin’s consequences) and under the power and control of satan. (See Acts 26:18). For men to die with sins unforgiven by God, is to die without a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ, is to die a child of the devil (ccf 1 John 3:10). Contrary to popular opinion, the unsaved at death enter Hell (see Psa 9:17); 55:15; Matt 10:28; Luke 16:19-31). This is not a parable as the cults teach (also see 2 Thess 1:7). As surely as Heaven is a place prepared by God for the redeemed, just as sure is Hell a place prepared for the punishment of sin and sinners (cf Matt. 25:41). Let no reader of these lines be so gullible as to believe the devils popular lie that, “Hell is only the grave.”
Death to the unconverted is life’s most horrible experience. It is an eternal, fearful leap into everlasting darkness (Jude 13), the well earned fate of special fools (Psa. 53:1), the horrible highway leading to the city of the damned (Matt. 7:13).
O sinner, awake to righteousness!
O, saint, spread the tidings far and wide . . . Jesus Saves!
