What must I do to be Saved ?

The Saddest words in the Bible
Paul is on trial for his life in front of the Roman governor Festus and the puppet Jewish King, Herod Agrippa II. In verse Acts 26:23 , Paul asserts that Jesus has risen from the dead. This was beyond Festus’s comprehension, so Festus asserts that Paul is mad with a very loud voice and that much learning has made him beyond himself.
Paul replies calmly that he speaks forth the words of truth and soberness and that the King has full Knowledge of the truth in Paul’s words because those things were not done in a corner, and then in verse 27 (Acts 26:27), Paul asks King Agrippa if he believes the prophets because Paul can see that King Agrippa is under deep conviction.
Then in verse 28 Agrippa replies to Paul What I believe to be the most tragic statement in all history: “Paul, almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.” (Acts 26:28)
As we examine this scene, let us examine which was the mad one? Was it Paul or Festus who was mad? To reject Jesus as Savior, as Festus and Agrippa did, is the very ultimate in madness!!
Just read these words in Romans 10:9 . “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” There Paul describes every bit of your part in your being saved. Simply confess with your mouth the lord Jesus as your Savior because you believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, and you will be eternally saved. That’s Gods eternal promise to you, and God keeps every promise that He has ever made. God’s promises are as eternal as God Himself.
SO HOW DO I GET TO HEAVEN?
Jesus saith unto him “I am the way the truth and the life. No man cometh unto the father but by me.” (John 14:6) [THE ONLY WAY]
YOUR SIN PREVENTS IT!
“For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Rom 3:23) “For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom 6:23)
JESUS SHED HIS BLOOD FOR YOU!
“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood.” (Rom 3:25)
JESUS WILL FORGIVE YOUR SINS AND SAVE YOU TODAY!
All you have to do is ask! “For whoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Rom 10:13)
YOU NEED TO GROW IN HIM
“But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Pet 3:18)
ATTEND A BIBLE BELIEVING CHURCH
“Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some do. But exhorting one another and so much the more as you see the day approaching.” (Heb 10:25)
