Where do I go from here?
Take that First Step.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:  (Isa 55:6)

There are two verses in God’s holy Bible that come to mind, which start with the phrase “Seek ye the Lord.”  These verses are Isaiah 55:6, and Zephaniah 2:3.  “Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD'S anger.”

I know everything seems to be going wrong.   Let me ask you this.

Are you at a point in your life where you have NO options?  NO answers?  NO help?  NO where to turn?   There’s a simple but sometimes hard to grasp, solution.  Turn to Jesus, our Lord and Savior. Both of the above verses show us the answer to all of our earthly problems.  So many people are looking for ‘instant fixes’ but when we think about it, every journey starts with the ‘first step’.   Seeking the Lord should always be the ‘first step’ in any situation.  Place your trust in Christ and He will show you the way.  Jesus said “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” (Rev 3:20)    He’s waiting for you to open the door of your heart and let Him come in.  Let Him know your situation and then trust Him.  God already knows what you're going through.  Have faith.

Asking the Lord to fix the messes we got ourselves into doesn’t mean that all will go away immediately, but, He will deal with it if you surrender your life to Him.  God’s arm is not too short.   He will fix it!  Will you take that first step today?  The Bible says “But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name” (John 1:12)   Seek Him right now my friend.   He will start an incredible work in you that you will never regret.   There is indeed hope, if you have faith!

Take that step and let God show you where to go from here, by giving your heart to Him.   “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”   (Rom 10:9)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
