PRESERVED IN CHRIST

“Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called:”    

 (Heb 7:25)

Friends, I periodically hear from a professing Christian who “hopes” he goes to heaven someday. If you do not have a “know so” salvation, you may want to re-examine your walk. (Please read 2 Cor 13:5)  We are not only saved, but we are preserved in Christ Jesus. We are “sealed by the Holy Spirit of God”. (Ephesians 4:30)  You’ve heard it many times before I am guessing. “Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time”. (1 Pet 1:5)  Remember this, God cannot lie. (Titus 1:2) Trust His Word. We are not responsible for our own salvation by works. Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”

If you are still living in the “hope so” life?  Call out to God and receive Him today while there is still time. (John 1:12)   Jesus shed His precious blood for all who receive Him. “Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son: In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:”  (Colossians 1:13-14)  Jesus is waiting for you, friend. (Rev 3:20)  You are kept in His hand. (John 10:28-29)  Now, let’s get to work preaching His gospel !!  “Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:”  (Phil 1:6)
