ATHEIST WORSHIP CENTER - aka: Sunday Assemblies *

Definition / Atheism (wikipedia) : Atheism is, in the broadest sense, the absence of belief in the existence of deities. Less broadly, atheism is the rejection of belief that any deities exist. In an even narrower sense, atheism is specifically the position that there are no deities.
Definition / Atheism (My defintion) : Though stated as the non-belief or existence of God, it is the “refusal to give honor or glory to our Creator,” Jesus Christ. It is the religion of “ME” simply put. (This definition should make it a little clearer)
After recently finding out about a group named “Sunday assemblies,” I looked into it and found it to be the same old atheistic rhetoric packaged in a different format. A ‘so-called’ church. Below is some information from the ‘secular’ or ‘heathen’ church in Nashville, Tennessee. Tennessee is supposedly one of the states in the Bible Belt (more like the babble belt) which hasn’t held true for decades. It is a huge city filled with people from all walks of life seeking to capitalize on its name. It doesn’t matter whether one is in Nashville or Silicon Valley, California or Oregon or Pennsylvania. A non-believer is a lost individual who either doesn’t know about the Lord Jesus or they reject the living Christ. The Bible uses the word ‘reprobate’ in 2 Corinthians 13:5, which is basically a counterfeit - and this group is definitely a counterfeit. The 'Sunday Assemblies' use this phrase to hide their supposed “non-belief” but blatantly deny the Savior who is God in the flesh (John 1:1-3).
The Sunday Assemblies* was started by 2 stand-up comedians (2013) from the UK (how apropos) obviously to garner like-minded people to stand in the face (or against the face) of Jesus. Oh how dangerouse this is to many who are doing this. Our Almighty God is so gracious and forgiving that He has allowed rejection to go on for a time - but His patience will run out, the Bible tells me. I have read another article that reveals the ‘atheist church’ is now losing attendance, however, it will not be long before it is replaced by another counterfeit venue to steal God’s glory. We are all as a generation of vipers (Jesus speaking to the Pharisees and Sadducees). By thinking these ‘fake churches’ are harmless, it would be like thinking a den of poisonous snakes would be harmless. If one reaches into their den, more than likely they would get bitten. Being followers of Christ, it is difficult to look back into our own lives to see how we were at one time (some say they’ve always been followers but that’s okay - that's between them and God) because we now love what God loves and hate the things that God hates (Pro 6:16-19). We are “new creatures” (2 Cor 5:17) and live for Christ.
Below are the three mottos of the Sunday Assemblies (or the atheist church)

Live better? In the 20th century alone, atheist regimes from the socialist left – such as Stalinist Russia, Mao’s China, the Cambodian and Vietnamese Communists and Yugoslavia – murdered more than 153 million people in 65 short years! Atheist, (socialists and leftists) have slaughtered an untold number. NO political murders, mass murders or genocides were committed by Christians for religious reasons in the 20th century. (And those who claim that Christians slaughtered innocent people haven't looked into the story deep enough. Religions and religious groups have killed the innocent at times - Not Christians). Pagan National Socialists in Germany (Nazis) killed at least 6 million Jews during World War II, and the Muslim jihadists during the Armenian genocide in Turkey killed about 2 million Christians in 1915-1916 and are killing scores of Jews in Israel and Christians in Iraq / Syria today under the Islamic State and other Muslim groups. Atheism will NEVER make one ‘live better’ because GOD is not in the equation. A church without God is not a church. It is simply a ‘party’ which you can have at your house on Saturday night. A Church is NOT about a building. “The Church” is all of the followers of Christ working toward one goal and that is to glorify GOD. The word ‘church’ is mentioned over 70 times in the New Testament (KJV) and Jesus is the ‘Head’ of the church. Jesus said, “Upon this rock I will build MY church” (Matt 16:18). NOT ON THE HEATHEN.
Help Often? Although atheist organizations claim to help many, it is usually geared to those who have a similar mind-set and much of the “help” is supposed health care to poorer nations (which usually covers abortions). Helping? Atheists proudly use International Planned Parenthood Federation as an example of compassion and healthcare throughout the world. IPPF has aborted (murdered) 1,094,679 (million) babies in 2016 alone through chemical and surgical procedures. Not much help for the unborn. God hates hands that shed innocent blood (Pro 6:17). Would you like to be in the face of the Almighty God? Atheists are taking that gamble. They do help periodically but most of their programs are set up to help the atheist movement not just in the U.S., but throughout the world. Many of their programs are set up as a battle against Christianity. The ACLU handles more anti-Christian cases than any group of legal representatives. It is always Atheism first, and help secondly. The ACLU to my knowledge has never handled a case regarding Christian persecution. The phrase “help often” sounds like one what might by used by the Boy Scouts.
Wonder More? It never ceases to amaze me how groups come up with the silliest of phrases to try to make them stand out from others. To me, that is nothing but a “buzz phrase” to take one’s mind off the truth. It’s just more confusion (and God is not the author of confusion - 1 Cor 14:33). More indecision. More excuses. More unbelief in Godly principals. All truth comes from God’s word, the Bible. Atheists want to grow their un-Godly group continually and satan is at the helm. But, if one is grounded in the Bible, it is almost impossible to steal them away. It is a battle between “good and evil” and atheists seem to be gaining ground, but God is still in charge and always will be. There will be a reckoning some day soon. As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God (Rom 14:11). All present atheists will eventually believe that there is a God. They will meet Him. The same Savior who God sent, and was crucified, buried and rose again for our sins, will be judging those who rejected His wonderful mercy and grace. They rejected GOD’S ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.
By staying in God’s word, the Holy Bible, we do not have to ‘wonder’ about anything. God will lead us to “help others” by instilling His words and promises to each one of us. And as far as “living better goes,” when one surrenders their lives to Jesus and receives Christ as their personal Lord and Savior (John 1:12) we start the process of “Living Better” through His word. When one is “born again” (John 3:3,7) we start a wonderful journey of understanding. By allowing His word to indwell in us, and serving the Lord Jesus Christ, we will start to “live better”. It doesn’t matter at what point we are in life. While we still have breath in our life, God will save us and give us a more satisfying life – a life that will glorify God (1 Cor 6:20).
My friend, if you are looking for 'just a “church” to attend', I adjure you to look to Jesus first. We “all have sinned an come short of the glory of God” (Rom 3:23) and we need a Savior! The good news is that we have a Savior who has already paid for those sins (1 Cor 15:3-4 ) on the cross. Jesus Christ has paid our sin debt and is waiting for you to answer (Rev 3:20).
Do it now while you still have time. The view of an Atheist is a 'perpetual death sentence'.
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
(Romans 10:9-13).
