“Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:”

Acts 10:34

According to Google, which I don’t trust all that much, FIFO stands for "First In, First Out," which is an inventory management method where the oldest items in stock are sold or used first. This approach helps reduce waste and ensures that perishable goods are used before they expire.

There are many different opinions on how a church (the building housing the church) should be run, and I am not qualified to speak on church finances so I’ll leave that up to the deacons and other leaders of the church. What I am speaking about today is the people in the congregation – hopefully the followers of Christ within the church.  Many have been going to the same church for decades, and I applaud them for their faithfulness and love for the church, however some have the notion that since they were “First In”, they should receive preferential treatment over a new or recently ‘converted’ Christian.  While I know that new converts are mostly new to the Bible and their new ‘Christian walk’, they should not be treated as second-class citizens.  They have obtained salvation the same as we who have been saved for decades.  Peter said this: “Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:” (Acts 10:34)   We should receive those new to Christ with excitement and open arms.  Jesus said this: “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”    (Lk 15:10)

Let us not treat newcomers like products or stock or inventory.  Let us rejoice with that individual who has been recently saved by receiving Jesus (Jn 1:12) into their lives, being born again into the fold of Jesus Christ, our Lord.   Let us welcome new Christians into the church with open arms.  “Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.”   (Rom 15:7)  And let us continue to preach His glorious gospel.

Thank You Lord God for Your great salvation !  Glory to God on High!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

Isaiah 53:5-6“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”

A special thanks to Daniel Gibson of Tennessee Valley Web Design for his involvement in promoting God's holy word and a safe stop on the internet.

Our Friend Daniel Gibson went home to be with the LORD on March 17, 2018

Without Danny the re-posting of this site would have been delayed for another year at least.  Glory to God for Him placing Dan in my path.
