Do you know that the Bible says you are committing fornication living with your boyfriend (or girlfriend) or ‘partner’?

And that you are acting contrary to GOD’s holy word, the Bible?

Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

1 Cor 6:18

Nevertheless, to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband.      

1 Cor 7:2

 

Note, the last verse reads "his own wife" and NOT his own girlfriend.  There is a good chance that you have not read the Bible (completely) or maybe you have read bits and pieces like the majority of people have. One of the most mis-used verses in the Bible is Judge not, that ye not be judged (Matt 7:1). Most will tell me “do not judge” without a clue where it is or what it is about. It has been proclaimed so many times that the world uses the phrase, "do not judge," as a "coverall" for their lifestyle.  There is another verse in the Bible that reads “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment” (John 7:24). When I tell you that your soul is in danger, it may not be pleasant but it is not my rule. I tell you simply what the Bible says. It’s up to you whether you believe God’s word or not.

 

Read what Jesus said:


And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?   Matt 19:4-5


Plainly put, marriage is between a man and a woman and God ordained it.

And Read what the Apostle Paul said: 

 

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;   Eph 5:3     Paul was always warning us in his writings.

 

And again, Jesus said this:


Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.   Matt 7:21


The Lord Jesus tells us of those who think they are saved and secure but are not. A warning.

 

If you say your are a “Christian” or a “Follower of Christ,” and you are having sexual relationships with someone you are not married to, you are in danger of “hell fire.” I didn’t say that – Jesus did. He spoke of hell often. As Christians we are NOT supposed to be a part of this world. We are “set apart” from the world. We are NOT to live like the rest of the worldFor ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus. (Gal 3:26).

We must be separate from the world.

 

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty (2 Cor 6:17-18).

I am not trying to embarrass you my friend. My job is to just tell people about Jesus but also to warn brothers and sisters in Christ if they slide on to the wrong road. Or start heading down the wrong path.  I can assume that most who claim to be Christians are "born again" and have been "washed in the blood" but I don’t have 100% certainty if you are saved or not. That is between you and God. That’s on HIS side of the ledger, not mine.  There are hundreds of scriptures regarding this and we could spend weeks talking about them. I am sure that some of you, even know these scriptures and if you do, you are ‘operating' in opposition to the Bible, which you know, is GOD’s holy word. Hollywood, academia, and even our government, want to tell you that living together without marriage is ‘alright’ and ‘natural.But it’s not.

One more verse (or two):

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God (1 Cor 6:9-10).  How much more plain and simple can that be?


Come out of that relationship now. Get right with God and repent. If you have children in this relationship, get married after you ask forgiveness from God.  Let GOD guide you in this completely, but act upon it soon.  None of us know when we will leave this world. And aside from that, Jesus wants to use us to “go and preach the gospel to every creature” (Mark 16:15 ) and we can’t do that while living in opposition to GOD’s holy word.

 

Brothers and Sisters, I have had a past like everyone. I have what some call, “a history” but that was before I received Jesus.  So again, I am not wanting to embarrass you.  If you do indeed know the Lord as you say you do, “flee fornication” (1Co 6:18). You are sinning. That’s as plain and Biblical as I can put it.

Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.   James 4:8

For those who do not have a personal relationship with Christ, all of the answers and truths are in the Bible.  And for those of you that do not understand the significance of salvation, you more than likely will not have complete understanding until you meet Christ.  Without trying to embarrass you, I would like to ask you a few questions if you don't mind answering them to yourself.  How does one get to heaven?

 

• Do you think you are going to heaven because you said a prayer one time without a clue?

• Do you think you are going to heaven because of your religion?

• Do you think you are going to heaven because you pray with beads?

• Do you think you can go to heaven because of your good works?

• Do you think you can go to heaven because you are a good person?

• Do you think you are going to be in heaven with Jesus Christ because you were baptized (sprinkled) as a baby?

• Do you think you are going to heaven because your dad, or mom were Christians?

 

The answer to all these questions is NO.

None of the above are true.

 

“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by Me” (John 14:6). Jesus is the ONLY way to heaven. He paid the penalty for all of our sins on the cross, rose again, and is seated in heaven at the right hand of God.

 

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God  (John 3:3).  A great ruler of the Jews (Nicodemus) asked Jesus how to a person can go to heaven.  And then He spoke to the ruler of a marvelous thing.

That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.  For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life  (John 3:15-16).  You can do this too.

 

There is no other way but by faith and trust in Jesus Christ. You must come to Him with a repentant heart.  Jesus said “but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish” (Luke 13:3).

Repentance is not just feeling sorry what we have done, it’s to ask forgiveness from God and cease what we are doing that displeases HIM.  Repentance is “a turning away” and “understanding” that the things that you do, are not pleasing to God, and no longer pleasing to you.  You now will have a desire to be obedient to God.

 

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8-9).  No work and no religion will pave the road to heaven. Only by Faith in Christ and trusting Him for His incredible sacrifice.
 

When you receive Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will start understanding why adultery and fornication is NOT the Lord’s wayWill you do that right now?

 

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved (Rom 10:13)
